Each speaker, inspired by a lifetime's experience of working within the drinks industry, is able to show where drinks have fitted into and sometimes even moulded social history, how production processes can and do vary the finished spirit, where seasonalities, regions and raw materials generate different flavours and individual characteristics.
With an anecdote or two, memories drawn from life's experience, a romantic story associated with the drink's origins or a tutored tasting of the spirit itself, speakers will demonstrate the power in knowledge whether the need be to entertain or to recommend.
Since the Network's creation in 1999, more than 4000 students have experienced Taste and Flavour's unique style of informed entertainment.
